BERTHA GARNER DIVER

 

BERTHA GARNER DIVER, a lifelong resident of Doylesetown, died peacefully on Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, at her home surrounded by her family. She was 95.

She was the beloved wife for 72 years of the late THOMAS DIVER.

Born in Doylestown, she was the daughter of the late HARRY C. and ELNORA GARNER.

As a young woman, she attended Drexel University.

Grammy Bird, as she was affectionately known by those who loved her, was a woman whose life centered around her family.

Funeral services will be held privately. Interment will be in Doylestown Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Elevator Fund, Salem United Church of Christ, 186 E. Court St., Doylestown, PA 18901.
