Anna HELF

Anna Helf, 95, of Perkasie, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000 at LifeQuest Nursing Center in Quakertown.

She was the widow of the late Anthony Helf.

Born in East Rockhill, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Annie Marie (Frederick) GROSS.

Mrs. Helf was a member of St. Peters Tohickon UCC; and a former member of Almont Reformed UCC.

She was employed as a seamstress for a number of area clothing factories, retiring in 1948.

Mrs. Helf was the last of 10 children with numerous nieces and nephews surviving her, which includes John A. Ford of Bethlehem.

Services were held Tuesday, Nov 28 at the Kantner Funeral Home, Perkasie. Interment was in Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Almont.

Memorials in her name may be made to St. Peters Tohickon UCC Memorial Fund, 1050 Old Bethlehem Road, Perkasie, PA 18944.

Lester C. Gross

Lester C. GROSS, 85, of Warren Center, formerly of Dublin, died Monday, March 19, 2001 at the Allyn's Hillside Personal Care Home, Warren Center, where he had resided since 1998.

He was the husband of the mother of his children, the late Mildred C. (Cadwallader) Gross. He also was the husband of the late Doris (Schock) Miller GROSS.

Born in Plumsteadville, he was the son of the late Isaac and Clara (Crouthamel) Gross.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Clarence and walter Gross.
