Norman S. Ruth

Norman S. Ruth, 86, of the Rockhill Mennonite Community. west Rockhill Township, formerly of Perkasie, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2000 in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township.

He was the husband of Mildred M. (Moyer) Ruth. they celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on May 10.

Born in Telford, he was the son of the late Israel r. and Bertha (Snyder) Ruth.

Mr. Ruth was employed for 44 years with the former C.D. Moyer Co., Silverdale, retiring in 1976.

He was a member of the Blooming Glen Mennonite Church, where he served on the 1968 buidling committee; served as a Sunday School teacher; usher and trustee for the church.

In addition to his widow, surviving are a daughter. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Moyer; three grandchildren; a brother, Lester Ruth; and a sister, Ella Albright.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 2 at the Rockhill Mennonite Community Chapel, Sellersville.
