John Balderston was a weaver who immigrated from England. Feb 24 1753 , , Bucks County, PA D. Sept 5, 1817 Sarah Balderston B Feb 21, 1757 Bucks County, PA Lydia Balderston B. Jul 4, 1759 Bucks County D. Oct 2, 1820 John Balderston B About 1761 Bucks County Mary Balderston B. June 11, 1762 Bucks County. John Balderston the Father refused to take the Oath of Allegiance which was prescribed by law in 1777. As the time of his death in July 1778 his property was in danger of being seized by the government for failure to take the oath. John, Jonathan and Mordecai were listed as being members of Captain Lanning and Captain Kestor’s regiments in Solebury.
