Samuel B. Eckhardt, Sr.

Samuel B. Eckhardt, St., of Levittown, died Thursday in Lower Bucks Hospital, Bristol Township. He was 71.

Born in Philadlphia, Mr. Eckhardt had been a resident of Bristol Twp since 1949. He lived for a time in Port Charlotte, FL before recently moving back to Levittown. He worked as a maintenance mechanic for Champale of Trenton until his retirement 13 years ago. He was a former member of the Chester w. Terchon Post 5542, V.F.W. He served in the Army during World War II in the Pacific.

Mrs. Eckhardt is survived by his wife, Monica E. Eckhardt; two sons, Samuel B. Eckhardt of Deland, FL and Jack Eckhardt of Port Charlotte; two daughters, Marsha A. Eckhardt of Levittown and Joanna M. Knightlinger of Warrington; a brother, Theodore Eckhardt of Philadelphia; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relative and friends are invited to a memorial service at 11 am at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Levittown Parkway and Mill Creek Road, Levittown.
